Rahul Ramakrishna quits Twitter
After the release of the comic caper Mithai on Friday, something quite unexpected happened. Rahul Ramakrishna, who was one of the film’s two lead actors along with actor Priyadarshi left everyone surprised when he took to Twitter just the next day of release, on Saturday, to accept the film’s failure.
This surely is an unprecedented move for Telugu actors where it is not often that this happens. While sharing that he knew way before the film’s release that it wouldn’t work, he also shared that an attempt was made to salvage the film but to no use.
Eventually, Rahul deleted his Twitter account and all that is available now is a screenshot of his tweet that is being circulated.

"We tried our best to repair the film but our efforts were in vain. I had predcted this outcome of the film and was reluctant to promote it. My apologies to everybody for yesterday's experience at the theatres. I still have respect for the director's ideas and wild imagination," read his last tweet which was posted at 7: 52 am on February 23rd.
