Taylor Momsen has taken to Twitter for apologizing to upset fans in Glasgow after she called the Scottish city "craziest... in all of England".
"Glasgow, I love you, I now HAVE to tour SCOTLAND (haha, sorry about the slip up!)," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as writing on Twitter.
The 17-year-old performed with her band The Pretty Reckless in Glasgow last week but the concert fell flat when the Gossip Girl star got her geography wrong.
During the gig, she said, "Glasgow you are looking good tonight. We are The Pretty Reckless and we have heard Glasgow is the craziest crowd in all of England," the quoted her as telling the audience.
The comment drew jeers and boos from the riled crowd.
"The noise from the crowd was deafening. People began to cheer as they presumed she was going to say Scotland, but when the penny dropped (when they realised) all you could hear was boos," student Paul Krane told Scotland's Daily Record newspaper.
