Tanmay Bhat's controversial video where he insulted Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar had gone viral on the Internet. While most people lashed out at Tanmay for his snide remarks, Sonam Kapoor and Chetan Bhagat stood by the comedian.
Chetan tweeted saying that people can't be arrested for bad jokes, clearly hinting at the ongoing furore against Tanmay. Sonam on the other hand said that she knows him as a friend and that he only meant it as humour and not to insult anyone.
Now, Tanmay might be happy that finally there are people who are coming out in favour of him, the people who are actually siding with him might not feel the same anymore. Why? They are getting trolled severely on Twitter by Twitterati for their comments.
