It was a film about a father and son and their life’s journey that got her writing.

She shared, “When I lost my dad nine years ago, I felt so uncertain about myself, I didn’t know who I was anymore! I felt like I lost direction, stability, like I lost a part of my core! There is no explanation for it. It’s an emotional wound so deep that I don’t know if it ever heals. Time may dull the pain and life must move on, but I don’t think it ever goes away! Which is why it is so important to appreciate whatever you have when you have it.”
