Taapsee Pannu to Vishal: Tamil celebs SLAM Radha Ravi left, right and centre for his derogatory remarks about Nayanthara

Vishal, General Secretary of Tamil film actors' union and the president of Tami Film Producers' Council, has strongly condemned veteran actor Radha Ravi's sexist remarks on Lady Superstar Nayanthara at the press meet of her long-pending horror film Kolaiyuthir Kaalam. 

In his speech, Radha Ravi said, "Nayanthara acts as Goddess in one film and as ghost another film. Although she's a good actress, I'm really not okay with the comparisons with the Puratchi Thalaivar MGR and Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan. They are all legends. Earlier, people used to cast actresses who look divine and evoke respect when we see them as Goddess. Nowadays, people cast actresses who you want to call towards you when you see them as Goddess."

Nayanthara's boyfriend and director Vignesh Shivan took to his Twitter page and said that no one will support them. 

Vignesh Shivan also said that Nayanthara didn't even know that an event was being planned for Kolaiyuthir Kaalam. "None of us had any idea that this event was going to take place for an incomplete film .. the actual producers or directors left the film a few years back I guess! Inappropriate event wit unnecessary people sitting and knowing not what to speak! If this is called promoting a movie, Then it’s good to stay away from such events which don’t have any need but just to give opportunities like this for jobless people to vomit some senseless, useless stuff on stage."
