We are aware that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput went to extreme lengths to prepare himself to play the character of Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his biopic 'MS Dhoni'.

Sushant would hang around for a few weeks at Kharagpur railway station, where the cricketer was posted before he entered the the cricketing field.

Sushant would interact with other ticket collectors, travelled with them incognito in the trains to observe their body language, their style of talking and picked up their nuances.

The actor also ditched staying at the five star hotels, and chose to live with the ticket collectors at the railway quarters for a few weeks. Dhoni's former colleagues shared his stories with Sushant to help him play the part.

Sushant shares, "Apart from undergoing hard core preparation to play cricket like Dhoni, there was a different kind of effort that went into understanding his life before he became India's Captain Cool! Three of his room mates have been of phenomenal help to me. They let me come in their work space in the trains, let me stay in the same railway quarter and also told me a lot of stories about Dhoni which helped me make my performance more nuanced. I was extremely fascinated."

M.S Dhoni - The Untold Story features Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role alongside Kiara Advani who will be playing the part of Sakshi Dhoni in the film. The film is all set to release on September 2, 2016.
