Meanwhile, Suriya's NGK is gearing up for release sometime in May according to industry sources. The makers are currently working on the film's final edit, and the other post-production works are happening in full swing. An update on the film's album composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja is expected to arrive this week. Since Yuvan and Selva have delivered classic chartbusters in the past, fans are eagerly waiting for the audio launch of the film produced by SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures. Tipped to be an intense political drama, NGK features Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi as female leads.

In April, Suriya is expected to start shooting for director Sudha Kongara's next project as we had reported earlier. Sudha made a head-turning debut with Madhavan, Ritika Singh's Irudhi Suttru, and Suriya's home banner 2D Entertainer is producing this yet-untitled project. Suriya will sport a suave look, similar to the one he was last seen in Ghajini's Sanjay Ramasamy character.

The film is based on the life of the entrepreneur and founder of Air Deccan GR Gopinath, who made flying economical and easier for people by launching a budget airline. GV Prakash has been signed to score the music for the film, which is jointly produced by Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment and Suriya's 2D Entertainment
