Suriya has heaped praise on his Kaappaan co-star Arya, who has finished shooting his portions for the film. Directed by KV Anand, the film is currently progressing at a swift pace, and the team is expected to wrap up the entire schedule before the end of March or early April.
KV Anand confirmed Arya bidding adieu to the shoot on his official Twitter page.
Anand said Arya was a wonderful person to work with. Kaappaan marks the first time that Arya is working with KV Anand, who has earlier delivered blockbusters such as Ayan and Kavan.
Arya, who is all set to get hitched with his Ghajinikanth co-star Sayyeshaa this month in Hyderabad, thanked Anand and Suriya for Kaappaan.
Suriya promptly replied to Arya saying that he is an actor without any negativity and hatred in the industry.
Produced by Lyca Productions, Kaappaan also stars Boman Irani, Mohanlal, Samuthirakani and Chirag Jani in important roles. The film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj and editor Anthony has already started working on the film's edit. Sources say the makers are planning to release the film for the Independence Day weekend, a date which Prabhas' Saaho team is eyeing for.
