Suresh Babu opens up on wedding plans of newly engaged couple Rana Daggubati-Miheeka Bajaj

Rana Daggubati surprised everyone on Tuesday by announcing his engagement with Miheeka Bajaj, who is a Hyderabad-based entrepreneur. He took to his Instagram page and introduced his ladylove to the world with a selfie and captioned it stating, "And she said Yes :) #MiheekaBajaj". She also shared the same photo and wrote, "Big yes #miheekabajaj #ranadaggubati". Now during an interaction with Bombay Times, Rana's father and producer Suresh Babu opened up about his son's engagement.

He stated to the daily, "During these grim times, we finally have a reason to celebrate. The entire family is happy. The kids have known each other for a long time now and we’re all very happy for them. It’s too soon to talk about other details about the wedding. We will reveal everything at the appropriate time."

Suresh also spoke about wedding plans by sharing, "The wedding will happen this year. We were thinking of having it around December, but it could happen even sooner than that too. We will reveal the details once things are finalised. One thing’s for sure, the kids have given us a nice way to enhance our lockdown productivity. We’ll now be busy planning a wedding,"

Even Miheeka posted a photo with Rana on her Instagram page in which they are showing their goofy side. She captioned the photo stating, "All smiles #miheekabajaj #ranadaggubati".
