1)  To be fashionable is to be able to dress confidently. We all are distinct and fashion lets us be more expressive.

2) The clothes you wear and the way you carry it off, portray the kind of person you are — so choose wisely and don’t wear what others are telling you to!

3) Sometimes, I feel very feminine and would choose clothes that suit that look and so out comes a lot of pinks and reds. And on certain days, the tomboy in me decides to wear simple ganjis or jeans coupled with aviators and along with it a least-bothered attitude.

4) I am also in for exploring new patterns and styles that can suit every mood and occasion.

5) I wouldn’t recommend anyone to follow a specific fad. Trends will come and go, but that what suits your body type is the right choice.

6) I am not exactly a big fan of labels. I mostly like to shop in Diesel and Zara. And when I’m in Mumbai, I never miss paying a visit to Manish Malhotra and Rocky S’s shops. According to me, looking good doesn’t have to be associated with labels. Even then, certain designers have a flair for making every body type look gorgeous.

7) Never dress to impress! Every time you put something on, make sure you don’t make a fool out of yourself. Every time you look at a dress, visualise yourself in it and listen to yourself hard for feedback.

8) You have to always make sure that what you wear suits your body type. We women come in all different sizes and there is no such attire that fits us all uniformly.

9) According to me, the most important thing about fashion is comfort and that is the key to looking good. You might have something exotic on you but if it doesn’t go with your entire persona and body type, it won’t work.

10) Secondly, fitness is essential! I am not talking about being size zero but being healthy and fit is of utmost importance. It’ll also give us the confidence to wear whatever we like.
