Stephen King's new short story, titled 'Bad Little Kid', has been optioned for a feature film that will be directed by Laurent Bouzereau under his production company, Nedland Media Inc.According to the Hollywood Reporter, the American author had said that he wrote his latest short story specifically for his fans in European countries that were so hospitable to him when he visited in November.The short story was released as an e-story in Germany and France in March.'The Shining', 'Carrie' and 'The Green Mile' are some of the over 50 films that have been adapted from Kings' books and short stories over the years.
