Soundarya Rajinikanth and Kajol co-incidentally were dressed in red at the wedding reception
Newly-married Soundarya Rajinikanth looked pretty in red at her wedding reception, and joining her was none other than Bollywood actress Kajol. Nobody was aware that the actress would attend the reception and it came as a huge but pleasant surprise.
Kajol had previously worked with Dhanush in the movie VIP 2, which was the abbreviation for Velaiilla Pattadhari, translated as unemployed graduate. The bilingual film also marked Kajol’s debut in the Telugu film industry. She has previously worked in the Tamil film Minsara Kanavu with Arvind Swamy. The actress seems to have come close to Soundarya during the movie’s shoot. For the uninitiated, Dhanush happens to be Soundarya’s brother-in-law and Rajinikanth’s son-in-law.
However Kajol isn’t the first guest list who is part of the celebrations. Rajinikanth’s good friend Kamal Haasan, who is surprisingly part of a rival political party, was part of the wedding and was personally greeted by Dhanush and Rajini himself.
Soundarya Rajinikanth, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, got married to Vishagan Vanangamudi on Monday morning. The two tied the knot at Leela Hotel in Chennai. She was dressed in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla at the wedding and chose the designers even for her wedding reception.
Veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu, and his daughter Lakshmi Manchu flew from Hyderabad to attend the nuptials between Soundarya and Vishagan. National award-winning lyricist Vairamuthu was also seen at the wedding. Composer Anirudh Ravichander, Andrea Jeremiah, Aditi Rao Hydari, Samantha Akkineni also graced the wedding. On the political front, State Information Minister Kadambur Raju, Ramkumar, Prabhu, Selvaraghavan, Vikram Prabhu, Nakkheera Gopal, P. Vasu, KS Ravikumar, Kalaipuli S Thanu, AC Shanmugham, Manjima Mohan, Dayanidhi Azhagiri, Sridevi Vijayakumar, Madhan Karky were also on the guest list.
