Did you see Sonam Kapoor walk the red carpet for the second time for another movie premiere? I'm asking because the ensemble was on the same lines of what she wore for her first appearance at the 69th Cannes Film Festival this year.

For her day two appearance, Sonam began the day in Ralph & Russo's black tulle draped batwing dress from their Spring Summer 2016 collection. It had a bow peplum and graphic duchess satin ribbon was appliqued.

For her red carpet appearance for the premiere of Loving, she again went for Ralph and Russo. This time, it was a silk crepe gown in champagne. The dress had a cape (I am done making Edna Mode jokes). It was laden with organza and feather blooms at the shoulders and the train.

Capes! So many of them! Why?

And the colour?

While talking to dna before leaving for Cannes 2016, Sonam had said that her wardrobe will have colours matching the Infallible make-up range by L'Oreal. So is she sticking to cleansing milk and kohl only? Because that range has some stunning lipsticks and I don't see any of them on Sonam.

Even for her appearance at the Chopard party, she chose a black dress in duchess satin peplum bustier with degrade organza ribbon waves overskirt from the spring summer 2016 collection of Ralph & Russo. On her app, Sonam's sister said the theme for the party was 'Wild' and adding gloves to the dress gave it some drama.

Chopard has been throwing these parties since day one of Cannes 2016. And if you Google Cheryl Cole or Heidi Klum, or Kate Hudson, with Chopard and Cannes 2016 as keywords, you will get a fair idea of what 'Wild' can be.

Then there is a similarity to what she wore for the HT Style awards. It was by Ashistudio and the sheer skirt of that ball gown was similar to the style of Ralph & Russo. Nothing new there.

Moving on, let's see what she does for the upcoming amFAR gala.
