Actor Sonam Kapoor has recently returned from a two-day mini-break and has already resumed her shoots and begun the promotional events for her upcoming film. While the actor enjoys these marketing activities, as much as she enjoys shooting, since they give her a chance to interact with her fans, sources close to the actor reveal that the one question that she is really tired of answering is about her equation with co-star Bipasha Basu.

Considering the fact the insecurity and high competition in the industry, two actresses working together rarely get along off camera. So, naturally the same cold attitude was expected to creep up between the two on the sets of Players as well. But insiders reveal that while the boys (co-actors Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bobby Deol, Omi Vaidya and Sikander) would gang up and have fun, Bips and Sonam were no less.

“It never got to a point when it became like the boys vs the girls, they were a gang, but even on their own, both Sonam and Bips got along really well,” says a unit hand. And apparently the two had more than one thing to bond on. “Sonam is an absolute foodie, and so is Bipasha, even though both have the trimmest figures in showbiz. So, food was one point that they both bonded on. Then of course the two love shopping and so would go off together on their own and return loaded with shopping bags,” the source adds.

“People find it hard to believe that two actresses can share a good rapport off camera, but Bips and I got along really well. We are both very secure individuals and there was never a question of any catfight,” said Sonam. Apparently, the two even shared make-up and styling tips. “Both are quite experts when it comes to styling. In fact, for one song, Sonam even helped her sister Rhea put her complete look together in less than two days,” reveals another source.

Confirming it, Sonam shares, “Yes, I did have very little time to put together a look for this song. My sister Rhea, who has styled me for the film, went through a lot of stuff, before finally deciding on a stunning black dress. The black integrated acrylic on the dress makes it a perfect match for the film’s theme. It looked and felt amazing!”
