Actor Sonal Chauhan may be missing in action from the big screen, but she’s definitely a part of the film scene. The pretty girl who was last seen in Jannat has been busy with her assignments down South.
Ask her about her experience and she just can’t stop talking about it. “My Telugu film that released in July was a huge hit. The audience there is completely different. The stars are given God-like status and people worship them. It feels so good to be an inspiration for so many people out there,” she says.
The actor also believes that language is not a barrier for her and she will just do good films. “I want to do good work. I don’t think Tollywood or Bollywood are really different. Both have a huge demand and invest insane amounts of money to churn out good films. I love working in the South as much as here, but yes, Mumbai is where my heart is,” she admits.
Talking about heart, we prod her on her relationship status and she sighs, before adding, “I am not dating anyone but trust me my expectations from a man are way too high. I am ready to invest time and energy in a relationship, but I don’t think my ideal man exists. I have a long list of expectations from my man and though I won’t say it is impossible to find someone like that, it definitely is difficult.”
And though Sonal believes in the institution of marriage, she has no plans to get hitched anytime soon.
“I am very young and I have plenty of time to even start thinking about it. I will cross the bridge when I come to it but I am sure of one thing — I won’t get married just for the heck of it,” she says.
