Sidharth Malhotra wants to star in this 90s remake!
Sidharth says he’s a Big B fan and that the film “had the right blend of action, romance and emotions.”
Varun Dhawan’s stepping into ‘Salman Bhai’s shoes’ with the remake of a ’90s hit, Judwaa 2 and is excited to bits about it. His friend Sidharth Malhotra is doing a remake, too (Ittefaq).
But what really has the latter excited is the idea of him starring in one particular remake. Says Sid, “I would love to star in a modern-day Hum. That is an absolute favourite of mine from the 1990s.”
He says he’s a Big B fan and that the film “had the right blend of action, romance and emotions.”
He further reasons, “Plus, I would also get to dance on Jumma Chumma, which would be a dream come true.”

Assuming a producer or director does want to make Sid’s dream come true, it would also entail looking for two younger actors to play his brothers. And given how multi-starrers are not really en vogue right now, it might take a casting coup or a few years to pull that off!
