Meanwhile, the actress's Telugu remake of Premam starring Naga Chaitanya is a big buzz in south India. The Malayalam film starring Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastien, ran for over 250 days in Chennai.
The Telugu version of the film has Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan along with Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastien in their original roles. Shruti essays Sai Pallavi's role as a teacher in the college. There was concern among fans whether Shruti would pull off this role as it was non-glam and simple. But it looks like the actress has proven them wrong!
