Shivarajkumar’s 'Mylari' to be released in more than 99 theatres

Usually, when someone gets 120 cinema halls for their film’s release, they are jubiliant. But the makers of the Shivarajkumar-starrer, Mylari, are a tad disappointed. Why? “It’s Shivanna’s 99th film. It would have been an interesting feat to release it in 99 halls but it looks like people have mammoth expectations,” says producer Kanakapura Srinivas.

“I have no regrets though. After all, it is every producer’s dream to have his film release in over a 100 halls, right? I’m sure that this film will do well, for fans are expecting a lot from the Shivanna-Chandru combination,” explains Srinivas.

The film will have Shivarajkumar in five different get-ups and he also has two heroines for company — Sadaa and Sanjjanaa, by his side. Sanjjanaa is extremely excited about the film as she feels this is her first big release. “I am so happy that the film will release this year end and it’s going to be a great way to end the year. Fans are already in love with my song, Mylapura Mylari, which has me matching steps with Shivanna,” she informs.

Shivarajkumar, on the other hand, is his usual humble self. “I am not aware of what the buzz is, but the film-makers have put in a lot of effort, so I want it to do well,” he signs off.
