Shilpa’s mysterious black-out!

In an uncanny coincidence, Shilpa Shinde (Manju in ‘Bhabi’) who played a visually-impaired girl in ‘CID’ underwent a serious eye -ailment after she finished shooting for it.

She relates, “Just after I finished shooting for the episode where I played a blind girl, I suffered from a serious eye-infection. I was asked to remain in darkness for seven days as my eyes had to be protected from light. I felt like Rani Mukerjee in ‘Black’.

I experienced the trauma of not being able to see.” However, the “appreciation” of her co-actors reassured Shinde. The blind-girl episode will be telecast this week.
