Mira is a third-year English (Hons) student at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. Shahid Kapoor met Mira through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Shahid and his father Pankaj are devout followers of the group.
Reportedly, Mira and Shahid got engaged on January 14, Sankranthi day. The buzz also suggests that Pankaj Kapoor, Shahid's father, recently visited Mira's parents.
