The actor is up-to-date with all the latest gadgets and is known to browse the internet or read up on new products whenever he has some free time on hand. That’s not all, he also has a preview theatre where he hosts special screenings of films for his close friends.
A keen gamer, Shah Rukh apparently has an entire floor dedicated to videogames at his bungalow, Mannat in Bandra. In fact SRK loves his games so much that he even carries them to his sets.
During the shooting of Don 2, SRK and all the boys including Farhan Akhtar would play for hours on end.
A Mac user, since he is also very fond of reading, he recently brought himself a Kindle, an e-book reader. A source close to the actor says, “Shah Rukh is always on the go and travelling takes up most of his time. The actor thinks that the best way to enjoy long flights is to read so instead of lugging around his books, he brought himself a Kindle. It is a small, sleek device that he uses to read. He really finds it convenient as it allows him to read more than one book at a time.”
Recently when SRK was away for home, shooting for Ra.One in the USA, he installed a video chat system to stay in touch with his kids and wife, Gauri.
The gadget looks like a web cam, but is a snazzy gadget which can zoom in and zoom out and SRK would religiously chat with his kids every evening.
His vanity van too is one of the most technologically adept ones in Bollywood. King Khan has a lounge with bar, a gym with modern equipments, an office, a bedroom and a washroom with a shower, all inside his van.
