While Chennai Express also crossed the Rs 200 crore mark and went on to become SRK's biggest blockbuster of all times, Happy New Year has followed suit. The film that shattered all previous records with a humongous opening of around Rs 45 crore went on to collect huge moolah at both the domestic and the overseas circuit.

The film kept speeding up only to fall a little flat after the Akshay Kumar-Lisa Haydon starrer The Shaukeens took up most of its screens. HNY collected around Rs 75 lakhs on its third Tuesday to zoom into the Rs 200 crore club. The film's total collections stand at Rs 200.50 crore at the moment.
