However, it was her Kollywood stint which helped her bag more projects. After starring opposite Jayam Ravi in Vanamagan, Sayyeshaa signed Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam directed by Pandiraj, marking her first rural drama. The film went on to become a massive blockbuster at the ticket window and set the cash registers ringing for four to five straight weeks. In fact, Kadaikutty Singam is Karthi's highest-grossing film in his career and scored more footfalls than Superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala directed by Pa Ranjith.

After foraying into Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, now Sayyeshaa is gearing up to set foot into Sandalwood through Yuva Rathnaa, which is bankrolled by the makers of the industry hit KGF, Hombale Films. Starring ‘Powerstar’ Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role, the film has Sayyeshaa playing the lead heroine. Director Santhosh Ananddram, best known for delivering solid blockbusters in Kannada such as Raajakumara and Mr and Mrs Ramachari, is wielding the megaphone for the project.

Recently, Sayyeshaa hogged the limelight after confirming her wedding with actor Arya, who is nearly 17 years elder to her. The wedding is expected to take place in Hyderabad next month. She is currently busy shooting for Kaappaan, directed by KV Anand, and produced by Lyca. The film stars Suriya, Mohanlal, Arya, and Boman Irani in the lead roles.
