Having earned praise for her red-bordered golden-hued attire in a recent premier, 'Natoker Mato' actor Paoli Dam affirms she feels most comfortable in a saree. "Saree is not only ethnic, it embodies womanhood. I love to drape myself with saree on special occasions," Paoli told PTI on the sidelines of an internaitonal boutique launch here.

Paoli, who rates red as her most favourite color, wore a red georgette stretch of cloth with hand-embroidered motiff at the launch of the boutique having Indo-Western, Ethnic-Haute Couture. "We wanted someone who embodies femininity. And who can be better than Paoli dam who is a quintessential Bengali but has a Pan-Indian identity, who is traditional but fits in well into women's wear of contrasting styles and flaunt accessories with aplomb," Anneysha Choudhary of Zamaara boutique said.

"From gowns. lehengas, info-western to benarasi we have a whole range in fabrics like georgette, cotton, Anneysha said. Paoli, who wore a red-bordered tussar silk saree in the Parapaar premier, where she starred along with Rituparna Sengupta, says the creative part remains the hallmark of any Kolkata designer and she walked the ramp in Lakme Fashion Week flaunting the outfit of a designer from this part of the country.
