For the actress it's the comfort that counts the most for a newbie like her in Bollywood.
Actress Sarah Jane Dias is still relishing the fact that the first promo of her forthcoming film has hit the small screen and that the response has been positive.
“I shot for the film and then completely forgot about it. I’m prepared to hark back when the time is right. But right now, I’m not supposed to talk about the film,” says Dias.
The former beauty queen insists that she had never pinned any expectations on her film and that she prefers to gauge the audience reaction first. “I will just wait for people’s verdict. Till then, I want to focus on my bakery,” says the actress-cum-entreprenuer who is known to whip up delicacies for special occasions.
But talk about her co-star in the film, Abhishek Bachchan and she brightens up. “I don’t know how much I am supposed to share about the movie but I can definitely say that I have never felt uncomfortable working with Abhishek. He never had starry airs about himself and made me comfortable right from the start. If I couldn’t get a shot right, he would patiently wait for me to find my feet. I was always confident when he was around. Comfort levels on the sets matter a lot, especially for a newbie like me,” she says.
Dias says that modelling and acting in front of the camera are two different entities. “It’s totally different and one should not have any false notions about it. Acting requires a lot of patience and hard work. I had to give each shot my 100%. But with supportive co-stars around, it can only become more fun,” she says, admitting that she was star-struck in the beginning.
“I was, of course, star-struck. I was always watching them (Abhishek and Kangana Ranaut) and always on the lookout to pick up a thing or two from them,” she concludes.
