Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt recently celebrated his 57th birthday which was attended by several celebrities.
Many pictures were shared by Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata on Instagram from the party. But one picture caught everyone's eye and became the news.
In one of the pictures, Maanayata is seen standing next to a lamp designed like a rifle. Of course, she never thought the images she shared would create such a controversy. The image of Maanayata standing in front of a golden rifle lamp has now become viral.
For those who don't know the details, the actor was jailed for five years after he was convicted in the 1993 bomb blasts case. He was convicted in 2007 by a special TADA court under Arms Act for illegal possession of arms and sentenced to five years rigorous imprisonment. He had spent 18 months in jail in 1996 after his arrest.
In May 2013, the actor surrendered after the Supreme Court upheld his conviction and sentence. He was lodged in Pune's Yerwada jail until in February 2016, when he returned home after completing his prison time.
