Salman Khan's 'Sultan' to release in Tamil, Telugu
Hurricane Salman is leading other films to reschedule their release.
Salman Khan’s big Eid release Sultan will now be dubbed into Tamil and Telugu to capture the South Indian market. The decision was taken in the light of Salman’s extended popularity in the South.
“So far, Salman was the Sultan of the North. But Prem Ratan Dhan Payo changed that. The dubbed version of the film performed very well in spite of competition from big Tamil and Telugu films. Sultan will be released like any big release in those markets,” says the source.
With the unexpected onslaught from Hurricane Salman, several Tamil and Telugu films scheduled for July are being rescheduled.
