Sajid Khan declines offer to act in 'Shaandar'

There was buzz in the industry about Sajid Khan playing the role of a Sindhi businessman in an upcoming film called 'Shandar'. Clearing the rumours, the actor-director made it clear that he has declined the offer. 

Media reports quoted him saying, “Yes, I was offered the film, but no, I am not doing 'Shaandar'. I am busy scripting my next film, a youthful romantic comedy.”

It's been over a month since director Vikas Behl started looking for a suitable cast for his film. Since Sajid has declined the role, it still remains unknown as to who will fill the role he was touted to be playing. Reports however say that Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor will be featured as the lead pair in the movie.
