After several Twitter users pointed out that the 'RRR' Hindi version has been leaked on YouTube, the video-sharing platform took the required action.
Directed by SS Rajamouli and led by extraordinary performances from Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, 'RRR' has opened to a thunderous response from the audience and the critics. Also starring two of the biggest Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, the film has brought back glory to the Indian cinemas as promised by the 'RRR' team before its worldwide release on March 25.
Though the film has been raking in the moolah with collections of over Rs 700 crore from the global box office, the Hindi version of the film got leaked on the video-sharing platform YouTube on Saturday, April 2. After several Twitter users pointed out the fact on the micro-blogging website, the Google-owned website YouTube took action and removed all the leaked videos from its platform.
Earlier, the film had become the latest victim of piracy as it was leaked on several torrent websites. As per filmibeat.com, 'RRR' was leaked and circulated on infamous piracy-based websites and platforms such as Filmywap, TamilRockers, and Movierulz among others. As soon as the news of 'RRR' being leaked was spread on social media, ardent fans of Ram Charan and Jr NTR had requested the netizens to not encourage piracy and watch the film in theatres.
It seems that even after several leaks, moviegoers are flocking to the theatres to catch the big-budget film on the big screen because of the amazing word-of-mouth the film has generated. 'RRR' boasts of terrific performances, breathtaking action set pieces, emotional music, and gripping screenplay, which has made it the best performing Hindi film post-pandemic.
