RRR box office collection day 10: SS Rajamouli's film set to cross Rs 200 crore mark

Even after more than a week since its release on March 25, SS Rajamouli's magnum opus is simply unstoppable at the box office. The period action extravaganza starring Ram Charan as Alluri Sitaram Raju and Jr. NTR as Komaram Bheem has emerged as the best performing film in the Hindi belt post-pandemic beating the collections of 'The Kashmir Files', 'Sooryavanshi', and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'.

Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel shared that due to strong word-of-mouth, the film has picked up strongly in its second weekend and has gained collections above Rs 20 crore on Saturday, April 2. His tweet read, "#RRR ( Hindi) on RAMPAGE MODE-  registers approx 50% growth on its second Saturday compared to yesterday.. Early estimates suggest its Day-9 collection is in the range of Rs 20 cr nett..  OUTSTANDING !!  #RRRMovie."

Another film trade analyst Taran Adarsh had already shared that the Hindi version of 'RRR' had already collected Rs 146.09 crores till Friday, April 1, as he had tweeted, "#RRR remains the first choice of moviegoers, despite two new films invading the marketplace [#Attack, #Morbius]... Will cross ₹ 150 cr today... Expect big growth on [second] Sat and Sun... [Week 2] Fri 13.50 cr. Total: ₹ 146.09 cr. #India biz."

If these indications are to go by, the film can have a massive second Sunday, i.e, April 3, and can breach the Rs 200 crore in the Hindi belt consisting of mass circuits such as Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Mumbai, etc. The film has cleverly tapped into the Hindi market by casting two of the biggest Bollywood stars - Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The 'Raazi' star portrays the role of Ram Charan's love interest, while the 'Singham' star portrays his father in the SS Rajamouli directorial.
