The Bush frontman, who has Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, two, with his ex-wife Gwen Stefani said he was so focused on producing music that he didn't spend enough time with his children, reported Female First.

"I went into my own studio every day that I wasn't looking after my kids and it morphed into being an album. I still feel like I'm growing as an artist and I wanted to make a record I love myself, and that's what I have done," Rossdale said.

The 51-year-old musician had previously admitted his divorce from Gwen was one of the "most painful things to go through".

"Divorce was completely opposite to what I wanted. Really not ... But here we are. Apart from death, I think divorce is one of the hardest, most painful things to go through," he had said.
