Washington: Roberto Orci will be making his directorial debut with the next Star Trek movie, it has been revealed.According to Deadline.com, the 40-year-old film writer, who recently parted with his longtime work partner Alex Kurtzman, will be replacing JJ Abrams to helm the third part of the series.Orci had been credited as a writer and producer in the 'Star Trek' films as well as the 'Transformers' and 'Amazing Spider-Man' movies.
