Richa Chadda's small screen debut
The feisty gal will feature in Anil Kapoor's tele series 24.
Sources say that Richa Chadda, who is known for her fierce act as Nagma Khatoon in Gangs of Wasseypur, has bagged Anil Kapoor’s ambitious TV series 24. The desi adaptation of the hit international show, that will see Kapoor making his Indian TV debut, has a mix of film and TV actors including Anupam Kher, Rahul Khanna, Ajinkya Deo, Mandira Bedi and Tisca Chopra. Richa will be playing an aspiring actress who will be kidnapped by Jai Singh Rathod — the desi Jack Bauer essayed by Kapoor. The Fukrey actress, who will be making her small screen debut with the thriller, the show is slated to start shooting next month. The serial is currently being shot at various locales in Mumbai. 24 has a real-time narration format and is full of action, thrill and suspense. Kapoor had been part of the original series and played the role of President Hassan in the eighth season.
