During the AIB knockout, Ranveer Singh had joked about 'how much it hurt' when he last gave Karan Johar in audition, but now the actor has actually spoken up about experiencing casting couch nexus in Bollywood. In an interview with NDTV, Ranveer said he was invited by a casting director to his home in Andheri who didn't even look at his portfolio.

The actor said: “I had worked as an assistant director and I knew that there are no takers for 500-page portfolio. Mine was very impressive and people were intrigued enough to at least take a look at it”. Ranveer claims that when he turned the man down, he started negotiating. He added: “Later I got to know what he was interested in. When I said ‘no’, he was heartbroken like a jilted lover.”
