Pakistan singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was deported from Hyderabad international airport on account of technicalities.

The famous Pakistani singer took a flight from Abu Dhabi to Hyderabad to take part in New Year's eve event at Taj Falaknuma Palace. But according to the report in Hindustan Times says, Pakistan nationals are allowed entry in India only through metro airports ie New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.

Immigration officers at Hyderabad airport denied him the entry. But after the organisers intervened, he was allowed to return to the country. The singer then took a flight from Abu Dhabi to New Delhi and later took a charter plane from the national capital to Hyderabad.
