PV Sindhu to have a cameo in her biopic?

At last year's Olympics held at Rio, Pusaria Venkata Sindhu became the first woman to win a silver medal at badminton. A biopic on her life is being made by Sonu Sood and while they are yet to cast the lead actress to play her role, the actor wants Sindhu to play a cameo in the movie.

While the film is still in its scripting stages, Sonu is sure that he wants to weave in a scene or sequence where Sindhu is also there. The two recently met to discuss the progress of the script. The 22-year-old athlete was born in Hyderabad and started playing badminton at the age of eight. Her special appearance in the film is bound to raise expectations. 

Meanwhile, recent rumours suggested that Deepika Padukone might be roped in to play Sindhu in the biopic. However, nothing has been confirmed by the makers in this regard as of now.
