This made us cry: When Aamir Khan met 'progeria kid' Nihal Bitla

Aamir Khan may have many fans across the world, however it is only a few who actually get the chance to meet him in person.One of those lucky few was Nihal Bitla who is suffering from a rare genetic disorder called progeria. Aamir Khan made his 'dream come true'  when he met Nihal and gifted the boy with a lot of goodies.

It was through a Facebook post by Nihal  where he had mentioned he wanted to meet Khan in order to thank him for the 2007 film titled Taare Zameen Par which had given him courage. Post that Aamir Khan wanted to meet this 14-year old special fan.

Upon their meet, Nihal gifted Aamir Khan with a drawing of deity Ganesha which Aamir Khan appreciated much. They even went ahead and posted a picture of theirs together, which shows the PK actor holding the child's drawing in his hand.

Thereafter, Nihal posted about the meet on his Facebook page. Nihal thanked Aamir for all the support and encouragement given to him by the actor and also thanked Aamir for the 'goodies'.

Progeria is an extremely rare genetic disorder wherein symptoms of ageing are manifested at a pretty early age in a child. The last portrayal of the same was done in R.Balki's film Paa where super star Amitabh Bachchan had played the role of 'Auro', who suffers from progeria.
