According to reports, Vishal has revealed that he has come across an interesting script, but is yet to finalise the cast for Hate Story 3. However the cast is likely to be revealed in the next two weeks.

The Hate Story series, as the title suggests, is about women who get back at the men they are tormented by. In the Vivek Agnihotri-directed 2012 release Hate Story, sultry Bengali actress Paoli Dam got recognition for the character she essayed. In the sequel, Surveen Chawla, who made her debut in Bollywood with Hate Story 2, also played the character of a woman-on-a-mission and won reasonable appreciation for it.

Keeping the flavour of vengeance intact, Vishal feels that the third edition of the series has become much more challenging, as the previous films have raised the bar.
