When GQ had asked Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson about the possibility of him running for the US Presidential Elections in future, the actor had stated, "I think that it’s a real possibility." Now, as per Public Policy Polling, it might be a real possibility that he may win the Elections if he were to contest for it in 2020.
The report states that given the current conditions and considering his 38% approval rating, it won't come as a shock that current US President Donald Trump isn't doing very well.
When the PPP looked at the prospects of The Rock if he considered running for the President as a Democrat, they found that 36% voters are in his favour and 13% aren't. They further added that Johnson would lead Trump 442/37 in s prospective contest.
Now, that's some revelation!
Meanwhile, at the world premiere of Baywatch in Miami, during the red carpet when Johnson's Baywatch co-star Priyanka Chopra was quizzed about the same, this is what she had to say:
I would vote for him. I would do whatever it takes [to help him become the President]. Because I think The Rock for President is a great idea. He is not just a great guy but he is extremely socially conscientious and that is what you want in your leader – to be kind, and think about the world.”
