'Premam' actress Madonna Sebastian replaces Shamlee in Dhanush's 'Kodi'
The film's shoot has already begun with Dhanush and Trisha.
It looks like all the actresses from the hit Malayalam film Premam are in great demand in Kollywood. After Sai Pallavi signed a Mani Ratnam film, it is now the turn of Madonna Sebastian who has reportedly bagged a Dhanush film. According to reports, Madonna has been roped in for Kodi.
Madonna played the role of Celine in the Alphonse Putharen's film. The actress is also a singer and is trained in Western and Carnatic music. In fact, she is part of band too.
Previously, Shamlee (Ajith's sister-in-law and actress Shalini's sister) had been signed on for Kodi. The film has two heroines and Trisha is one of the leading ladies. Now, it looks like Madonna has been brought in place of Shamlee. The filmmakers and Shamlee reportedly parted ways amicably.
The film's shoot has already begun with Dhanush and Trisha. Trisha has a role with negative shades in this political thriller.
The movie is expected to release for Ramzan and is produced by Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
