Prakash Jha to re-script cops film

Having lost the Lok Sabha elections, Prakash Jha intends to resume work on his next project -- a gritty cops drama which he now intends to re-script according to the experiences he has been through during his election campaign.The film that Prakash intends to direct next was written as a big-ticket blockbuster with bravura bursts of drama and action. But that has changed now, "After spending three months in villages that have no water and electricity, I've lost my appetite for artifice," says Prakash who made Damul about the grass-root reality in Bihar. He then veered to flamboyant realism in Gangaa Jal, Raajneeti and Aarakshan.He says, "I held 824 meetings in two months all across Bihar. I've seen life at the grass-roots from close quarters. After sharing the experiences of people at the lowest level, I feel I am more equipped to express my social concern through cinema."
