Phantom Films to team up with filmmakers Sudhir Mishra, Neeraj Ghaywan
While Neeraj Ghaywan's project with Phantom Films is still in its early stages, Sudhir Mishra's film will release this year.
Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Films is collaborating with filmmakers Sudhir Mishra and Neeraj Ghaywan for their upcoming projects.
While this is the first time Mishra is working with the production house, Ghaywan has worked as an assistant director on Kashyap's "Gangs of Wasseypur-1 and 2" before debuting with their "Masaan" last year.
"I am researching for my next film. I can't divulge details about it at the moment but it will be with Phantom," Ghaywan told PTI.
Mishra said he will start working on his next with the production house after the release of "Dasdev", a modern adaptation of Saratchandra's classic "Devdas".
"After 'Dasdev' releases, I will re-do 'Mehrunisa', an old project which did not get made earlier and I will be doing a new film with Phantom. They are a bunch of young, creative minds so I am looking forward to working with them," he said.
The filmmaker is looking to lock a release date for "Dasdev" this June or July.
