The 36-year-old actor, who plays Oliver Queen/ Green Arrow in the Arrowverse television franchise, says he was nervous when he had to touch upon his paternal side to do scenes with his onscreen son Jack Moore, reported ContactMusic.

"I mean, Oliver being a dad is my favourite part of season six thus far, and it's certainly what I've had to play the most. My first day back on season six was four scenes with Jack, who plays William, and I was nervous. I didn't know. I had never done a scene with this kid, you know what I mean? A kid. He's a young man.

"We had done one scene where I'm holding him close, and we had done one scene where he's playing with action figures.

We had four scenes. I was like... I didn't know how it was gonna go! You know? And he was not only equal to the task, but excelled. I left that day feeling so bullish about season six and everything that we have coming up," says Amell.

The series will return with its sixth installment later this year.
