While the rest of the cast, including the director, is yet to be finalised, the remake will be produced by Pawan and Venkatesh's banners. Venkatesh's brother D. Suresh Babu and Pawan's close friend Sharat Marar will co-produce the film. This is the third remake project that Venkatesh has accepted in the last twelve months after "Masala" (remake of "Bol Bachchan") and forthcoming "Drishyam" remake.
