Taapsee Pannu, who received accolades for her performance in Pink, has launched a helpline which will assist women who feel sexually harassed in the workplace but can’t open up about it publicly due to social stigma. The initiative has been taken by Event and Entertainment Management Association. Trained executives will answer the helpline number (01149694998) and redirect them to a professional counselor who will address the complaint of the victim. There will be redressal committees at regional levels. Taapsee feels the helpline will go a long way in creating better workplaces for women. This comes in the wake of recent molestation allegations by ex-employees of The Viral Fever (TVF) against founder-CEO Arunabh Kumar.
