Not Parineeti Chopra, this actress was the first choice for 'Circus'
You won't believe who Bosco wanted as his leading lady...
Bosco Martis' debut film as a director has been announced. Circus will deal with the story of a father, daughter and her lover caught in the world of trapeze artists, jokers et al. While the concept looks extremely innovative, it's Parineeti Chopra who's been cast as the leading lady.
Pari plays the trapeze artist who falls in love with another trapeze artist, reportedly being played by Sooraj Pancholi. Suneil Shetty will play Pari's dad in the film. Now, believe it or not, Pari wasn't Bosco's first choice for the drama.
A portal reported that it was Kangana Ranaut who was offered the film first. The portal also added that although Kangana initially showed her interest in the film and there were a lot of text messages exchanged between her and the director, she soon fled the scene. Bosco tried contacting her but to no avail.
It was then that Parineeti came to his rescue. The film will now go on floors by the end of this year.
