Shah Rukh Khan's Raees has been one of the most anticipated films this year. But now, as luck has it, the film has now been postponed to a later date. Adding to the fan's woes, Raees won't release this year anymore. The SRK starrer will now hit screens on January 26, 2017.

Talking about the move, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar issued a joint statement. "It was not an easy decision to move the film. We understand that #Raees is highly anticipated. However, a film of such magnitude requires the appropriate showcasing and therefore, we have decided to shift our release date to 26th January 2017," the statement read. 

Now, ever since the announcement has been made, SRK fans have gone berserk on social media and has also been expressing their sadness to the producers. The film will now clash with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil now.
