To prep for her role in a web series Nimrat Kaur has trained at Cindy Jourdain’s boot camp. The actress underwent training in CrossFit yoga and martial arts, and believe it or not, ballet! “Ballet helps in posture and improves flexibility. Working on mobility and flexibility made Nimrat more agile as she tackled outdoor assault course or military drills on the training field,” says Cindy. Nimrat met Cindy at the end of November last year and a six-week plan was put together to get the basics in place such as building full-body strength and developing kinetic awareness. Push-ups, pullups and squats were on the training list and Nimrat had to literally adopt a brand new way of life. The actress also had to give up drinking coffee for three months. Cindy charts out the actress’ diet. “Coffee is acidic, therefore, infl ammatory to the body and also extremely dehydrating. Also, recovery is an important factor when someone starts training consistently so I insisted she sleeps eight hours, stay hydrated throughout the day, take at least one sport massage a week and unwind with a swim over the weekend. She also followed a Mediterranean diet of grilled meat, healthy fats and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables,” she shares.
