New kid on the block

Young actor Aseem Tiwari has surely turned a few heads. After his praiseworthy act in I Hate Luv Storys, the actor has now bagged a Hollywood movie. He is also doing a Vivek Agnihotri movie which sources say is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.“I owe a lot to the Karan Johar film (I Hate Luv Storys). The director (of the Hollywood film) confirmed me after seeing my performance in that film. He said that he loved my screen presence,” Aseem tells After Hrs, adding, “It is a love story set in New York but what’s really interesting is that it will have two different shades in one character. I wish I can reveal everything but unfortunately I can’t.”He says, “Vivek Agnihotri’s movie (he assisted him in the John and Bipasha starrer Goal) has a very exciting script but once again, I will have to keep my lips sealed.”He further says,“I won’t say that I’m the most talented actor on the block but when it comes to work ethics, I’m right up there. I’m very dedicated to my work and I like to prepare myself thoroughly before facing the camera.”Talking about his wish list he reveals, “Aamir Khan is God. I want to do a movie with him soon. I loved Imran in Jaane Tu... and I’m glad I worked with him again. I would love to work with Pankaj Kapur and Shabana Azmi. The young directors are brimming with ideas. I’m looking to work with them. I would be proud if I work with Mani Ratnam and for Karan Johar, I would blindly go forward. It’s a delight to work for him.”
