National award winning actress-entrepreneur Neetu Chandra's happiness knows no boundary as her movie Mithila Makhaan will be screened at the 7th Jagran Film Festival, starting September 26.The movie won a National award this year in the Maithili language category.

Mithila Makhaan is the first Maithili language film to be extensively shot in USA, Canada, India and Nepal and takes Maithili language cinema on to a new horizon considering the film's budget, script, cast and cinematography.

Talking about it Neetu said, "For me, Mithila Makhaan is a passionate project and the fact that it has been selected for this momentous occasion makes me believe that we did something right to promote Maithili language and the culture of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh."

She added, "I am eagerly looking forward to sharing what promises to be a terrific experience with my cast and producers." Produced by her production house, Champaran Talkies and directed by brother Nitin Chandra, the movie will be screened during the Indian showcase section on September 29.
